Rose of Provins

In the XIIIème, Thibaut of Champagne brought the rose of Provins back from his crusades. Already known and celebrated during the ancient times by Greeks for its medicinal properties, this rose was usually used in the form of balms, essences or petals for the cult of the dead.
This rigorous bearing rose gives great fragrant flowers which have plenty of properties. Soothing, cleansing and purifying, it is for long used on decoction in order to treat intestinal ills or on skin lotion.
